Ron Wise

Ron is new to the North Shore (since 2003), but he has acclimated quickly.  As a member of  Clan Baird his  Scottish ancestry has inspired much of the accents found throughout Skara Brae.  Although from Southern California, Ron has always had a love for the grandeur of the wilderness.  Annual trips as a child to the national forests and mountains of the western United States planted the seeds that have led to the fulfillment of his lifelong desire to be a part of what is found on the North Shore of Lake Superior.  Since moving to Grand Marais, Ron has become part of the Grand Marais Area Tourism Association board of directors, has hosted the first and second annual Robbie Burns Suppers in Grand Marais, and has completed his coursework and joined the community of Massage Therapists in Grand Marais.  Additionally, Ron is certified in First Aid and Adult CPR by the American Red Cross.
